Hi, I’m Debra.
I love to teach and tell stories. I’ve been told by many people that I should “write that down!” For years I’ve been jotting down ideas and accounts but they never came to anything more than a ream of unrelated pages. So here I am sharing my life, my heart and my thoughts – one post at a time.
I certainly don’t claim to have all the answers. The more I learn the more I am humbled by what I don’t know. But I believe we all experience things in life that can greatly impact the lives of others. We are all unique, yet also very much the same. We all have something to share. Mine is a story of Hope, Grace, Love and Miracles with a bit of the ordinary mixed in.
I’m the baby of eleven children, and am now a joyfully married wife and mother. Although I grew up in a religious home I didn’t believe in God. Beginning in 1993, while studying to become a Registered Nurse, I became a Christian. In 2000, my draw to the Word of God and international missions led me to go to Bible School and later become a licensed minister. My ministry has included teaching, speaking, pastoral counseling and leading small groups as well as church planting, organization and administration. I have participated in missions to Central Mexico, India and Sri Lanka.
I am currently privileged to manage my home and home school my three small children full time. One of my greatest joys is sharing my life with my adventurous friend and husband, Jonathan. He and I have lived in several states across the nation and continue to move in support of his role as an officer in the military.
I find great pleasure in helping people seek, discover and realize their destiny; to live a full and abundant life.
